Try doing this crap against a non-cooperative opponent or against a fighting style recommended on this blog and you'll find yourself in a world of hurt! One of the things that is big in the martial arts community is selling instructional DVD's (use to be videos) where martial art masters teach the art through recordings. I don't blame people for wanting to learn a particular art/fighting style through video/DVD recordings when they don't have access to a school near them for that particular art/fighting style.
I'm not saying it's a good substitute, but if it's all you can get then by all means go for it. Nowadays with Youtube and other media sites a person can learn a variety of useful techniques. JUST BE OUT FOR THE CRAPPY TECHNIQUES AND FIGHTING STYLE LIKE KUNG FU SAN SOO! A good friend of mine was telling me that gang members get a lot of benefit from watching martial art techniques on Youtube. Another thing that I have already discussed is the desire from gang members to train in the fighting styles recommended on this blog (Muay Thai, BJJ, etc)! I'll never forget a guy telling me that he was exposed to gang members wanting to learn Muay Thai, etc and had bad things to say about traditional martial art styles.
Imagine going against a gang member who trains in Muay Thai, BJJ, (other arts mentioned on this blog), etc while you have spent time training in a crappy art like Kung Fu San Soo! However, gang members will generally use guns to do their business. Anyway, it amazes me how people can buy into this crap that is being taught from KFSS.
