Frank Woolsey was a student of Jimmy H. Woo in Kung Fu San Soo. My KFSS teacher talked about him and the conflict that happened between student (Woolsey) and teacher (Woo). Anyway, here is a video of Frank Woolsey in action. He studied directly under Jimmy H. Woo back in the old days. In this video you'll see how he moves and attacks. Does any of this stuff look applicable to real fighting? For me, the answer is no. For you, well, it's up to you to decide. You don't see guys in the UFC, One FC, Bellator, Glory, K-1, Pride, Super Fight League, etc. move and fight like this. Why? Well, it's simple. It's not applicable and practicable!
If Frank Woolsey is an example of good Kung Fu San Soo technique and teacher then it's obvious for me that not being able to continue in my Kung Fu San Soo training was a damn good thing that happened to me in my life!
