I'm going to post more posts about how Kung Fu San Soo is a martial art people should stay away from at all costs! It's just not practical and realistic for people to spend money and time on because there are other martial arts (mentioned on this blog) that can prepare a person for a real street fight in a much shorter amount of time than Kung Fu San Soo.
As I've mentioned on this blog before (I'm trying my best not to repeat myself) the professional fighters in the ring and/or cage are not studying martial arts that "take years" to "master" or are complex, but choose fighting styles that are practical and realistic against non-cooperative opponents!
I've got an idea for the readers of this blog that are still not sure about what I have to say...first, find a gym that teaches Muay Thai or Kickboxing and pay for a week or month of training. Second, find a traditional martial arts gym (it would be great to find a Kung Fu San Soo school to prove my point) and study there for a week or month (I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND TRAINING AT ALL, BUT THIS WILL HELP PROVE MY POINT). Compare your experience and ask yourself...
1) What style made me sweat the most? What style made me get in shape the fastest?
2) What style used simple realistic techniques that focused on non-cooperative opponents?
3) What style had the most serious people who trained hard and did all the talking in the ring or cage?
4) What style had the most successful history in fighting?
After you do this, you will see I have proven the harsh truth of martial arts training.
