Hello Everyone,

There's no way this blog isn't making people think about the martial art they're studying. I remember my KFSS master telling me that Kung Fu San Soo is the best martial art to study for fighting. He was wrong. Period. It can't hold a candle against the real fighting martial arts that I've written about on this blog.

No way it (KFSS) can hold ground in MMA events. You know how I can prove it? Take all the "dirty tactics" that Kung Fu San Soo supposedly advocates such as biting, eye-gouging, hair and ear pulling, spitting in opponent's eyes, foot stomping (remember, MMA PRIDE FC allowed soccer kicks and foot stomps too), head butting, and groin and knee strikes. Take what's left which would still be a lot and present it to MMA fighters to use in the cage. How many are going to want to study it? Maybe 1 MMA fighter in 100 MMA fighters would choose to study it for the cage.

Maybe 1 fighter...maybe, but if it is such a great "fighting" art that's effective then people would be rushing to KFSS schools or seeking KFSS masters to teach them. However, they are not! It's not like nobody in the martial art community has heard about Kung Fu San Soo. Believe it or not there is Kung Fu San Soo Master in an MMA book titled "MMA lessons: every technique you need to know about fighting." The section the KFSS master's is titled "command and control with (name of KFSS master)." When you look at the guy's section of the book, it's Kung Fu San Soo play fighting! In my opinion, to have a section like that in the book with lessons from accomplished real fighters like Cung Le, Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, etc. is an insult to MMA fighters who work hard to get ready for the cage!
