**Again, I will do my best to not personally insult any kung fu san soo master or practitioner or supporter on this blog. I will reply to comments through blog posts as best I can to answer any arguments. I will treat the people with respect. I cannot say the same thing that the kung fu san soo community has done. Just check out the American San Soo forum. They did their best to track me down via IP address, but they got it wrong. San Soo supporters and masters made personal insults about me and even the fighting styles on this blog on the Facebook group called Kung Fu San Soo 2.0 (I have proof they said things so they better not deny it). I admit, I called Ron Gatewood a "old punk ass" on this blog, but I'm human and not perfect. Trying to get answers from him and other san soo cult guys is like getting a toddler to sit still for a haircut (no offense to toddlers, but I need an example).
I feel in order to be fair I need to write an article on how the Kung Fu San Soo vs. Muay Thai event that was put in the International Kung-Fu San Soo Association Newsletter, volume 2, issue 4 (December 1995) was completely made up.
Anyway, now for the blog post...

On the issue of entering his students, I do know about it, I was not there but was told what happened, I remember Larry saying something about putting in junior belts against senior belts in a tournament. The Thai boxers, is a different issue. They lost, when Jimmy found out he was very angry, he brought his Instructors together and wanted them to vote Larry out and some would not, I heard it was a bad scene. Not too long after that Larry moved out of state. I don’t remember how much time went by when Larry called the school asking Jimmy how he could still learn but I don’t think Jimmy was ready to forgive. When he hung up the phone he told us we had to quit filming him, I believe he feared someone might send Larry films. That is about all I know.
I would like to say "Thank you" to Ron Gatewood for giving me an answer.
Basically, it's now fair to say the events did in fact happen at the Culver City Arena in 1975. Larry Wikel had 5 of his students face off against kickboxers and get destroyed.
I will write a blog post about Jimmy H. Woo and this event in 1975. I feel readers can learn something more from this story in past history.
