I have been training in Muay Thai lately and I have been doing a lot of pad work. It's crazy how pad work makes you realize your speed, power, technique, fitness level, cardio, etc. I don't care what any kung fu san soo "master" says about the type of training they do. The type of training they do is not real fighting and does not do any good for fighting in the street or ring. The video below shows pad work between two Muay Thai fighters.

If your kung fu san soo "master" cannot do pad work like these guys without puking or stopping than he/she cannot expect to teach anyone real striking skills for the street. Here's an idea, why doesn't any kung fu san soo "master" train like the styles below do for their students to show the supposed skills. Just kidding, I wouldn't expect them to at all. The fighting styles recommended on this blog will get a person in shape for the street besides the ring.
