The videos below show kung fu san soo "master" ron Gatewood in action. He's been in san soo for a while and I guess is the highest promoted "master" by Jimmy H. Woo himself. I don't care, but I want readers to know this is a high level "master" in san soo. Check out Ron's skills in action. He's a lot older now but the video shows his skill.

Okay, so I admit he's older in this video and probably a lot older now, but did you see any real true fighting skill shown? Nope, not me. His striking ability looks pathetic and I don't think he ever really had skills to go 5 rounds at 3 minutes on the bag showing true striking skill and speed and power.
The video shown below shows real striking skill on the heavy bag and if a "master" can't hit a bag like this then he probably has no business teaching someone how to strike to defend themselves.

Now let's focus on the lesson that Ron Gatewood teaches in the video. Does it really look like it would work on a noncooperative opponent? I wouldn't bet money on it. No one throws a punch and stands still and the supposed "windmills" that san soo teaches are very very hard to pull off on a trained fighter (especially against a person that trains in the fighting styles recommended on this blog).
No real trained fighter would fight like a San Soo opponent would, a real trained fighter is going to be physically and mentally tough to keep on going and going and deliver striking skills that are non stop. If a person isn't trained to deal with an opponent like that then don't bet on going home to the wife, girlfriend, etc. The fighting styles recommended on this blog will develop a person into a real fighter. STOP STUDYING FROM FAKE "MASTERS" IN STYLES LIKE KUNG FU SAN SOO! You're going to get killed. The Kung Fu San Soo techniques that strike the eyes, groin, throat will probably work, but anyone can do that. A person doesn't need to spend years and a ton of money learning that stuff when it would take less than 8 hours of training to learn how to do that. Certainly people that train in the fighting styles recommended on this blog can do the same thing and probably better than kung fu san soo guys.
It's really sad that people like Ron Gatewood have spent their life believing "THEY" have the secret of kung fu san soo and saying others don't have the true meaning of san soo when all of kung fu san soo is just a fake fighting style that doesn't get anyone to a level of fighting skill that fighting styles recommended on this blog can.
