A comment was left requesting what it requires to become a master in Kung Fu San Soo.
I've stated on this blog that the belt levels are:
1) White
2) Yellow
3) Green
4) Brown
5) Black
It is my understanding after you get your Black Belt in Kung Fu San Soo you earn a degree on your black belt each year. So when you earn your Eighth Degree you are recognized as a Master in Kung Fu San Soo. That's it. 8 years after earning your black belt you'll become a Master in Kung Fu San Soo. When you start as a white belt it doesn't take a long time to earn a black belt in Kung Fu San Soo. The average time to earn a yellow belt is usually 3 to 4 months. I know a guy that started as a white belt in Kung Fu San Soo, got his yellow belt in 3 months, and then got his green belt 5-6 months later after receiving his yellow belt. So, hopefully the rankings of San Soo has now been completely explained to readers.
