Hello Everyone,

This is an old post on the old blog that I'm reposting.  I believes it provides an argument that people should really consider when choosing a martial art to study. Note: The sound off the video has been disabled, but just watch what is happening.

This is a video of a Kung Fu San Soo "master" giving a demonstration of Kung Fu San Soo. My review when watching this video is…HAHAHA!

If I got a dollar every time people said their martial art is too deadly to use in the ring or cage and is only meant for the street I would be a very rich man!

Take any “Kung Fu San Soo master” and put him against a Muay Thai, Sanda, Western Boxer, Sambo, or BJJ fighter who trains hard in sparring, drills, conditioning, knows what it feels like to get hit, bleed in the ring or cage, feel pain, etc. who do you think is going to win? The guy who is saying his art is too deadly to use in competition and has never competed or the guy who trains his ass off and has been facing non-cooperative opponents?

I think it’s obvious who has the advantage. If you don't think my opinion is valid watch the
video of Joe Rogan and Bas Rutten talk about training for real fighting vs. the argument "it's too deadly to use in the ring or cage."

It’s always said in the KFSS community that KFSS is too deadly to use in the ring or cage and can only be used in the street. What the heck is so deadly about KFSS??????? Anyone can kick another person in the groin, bite, eye-gouge, pull hair or ears, or stomp a downed opponent. Hell, even in the MMA Pride FC the rules allowed soccer kicks or stomps to a downed opponent. Even those tactics were hard to pull off on a non-cooperative opponent!
