Hello Everyone,
The next real fighter to profile is Simon "Bad Bwoy" Marcus.
But first, I want to bring something up:
Kung Fu San Soo guys are told to bite, eye-gouge, hair and ear pull, foot stomp a downed opponent, slap the ears, strike groin, fish hook, head butt, etc. However, ANYONE can do that in a street fight, even a guy like Simon Marcus.
Most importantly, how much time and money are you as a person going to spend to "learn" dirty tactics? I think anyone who would need to spend more than a month to learn dirty tactics is throwing money down the drain when dirty tactics could be learned in a matter of days. Hence, "training" in Kung Fu San Soo for years doesn't lead to having productive punches and kicks like a Muay Thai fighter would have in his arsenal. Just watch youtube and you'll see what I mean.
Does training in Kung Fu San Soo for at least 10 years provide a realistic striking foundation to go head to head with a Muay Thai fighter who has only trained for 8.5 years? I don't think so! At the time of this video, Simon Marcus only trained in Muay Thai for 8.5 years. Yet, it's obvious he is more physically fit and punches and kicks harder than ALL the kung fu san soo "masters" shown on youtube. I would bet money he is more physically fit and punches and kicks harder than 99% of Kung Fu San Soo practitioners his age and younger!

Food for thought, but I wouldn't proud to take the title of "master" and say I trained in Kung Fu San Soo for 20 plus years when there's a person who has trained in a fighting style (the ones recommended on this blog) for less than 10 years who punches and kicks harder, is in supreme physical fitness and shape, and has proven his skills against non-cooperating opponents. You basically got the title of "master" for play fighting. Nothing to be proud of in my opinion.
Here is another video of Marcus in training:
