Hello Everyone,
Right now I've been so busy with work that I have forgotten to put up a new post for this blog. I'm not doing the things I've set out for the new year as much as I should be doing such as studying a particular foreign language (it makes me look good in my job) and working out when I'm not at the Muay Thai gym (where I'm living now all the Muay Thai/BJJ gyms are closed).
Anyway, one goal I have decided to focus on more is writing a book regarding my work career. I usually take notes on the things that happen to me at work when I'm back home and the things I get to do (it'll help me put together my book). It would be awesome for me to write not only a book about my career and the things I experienced but to also put it in a fictional novel (showing the complex issues involved in the type of work I do). The place I work for is known to
certain people in American society and around the world and as a matter of fact there have been some good movies involving my employer, but none have never shown a really honest look.
I cannot and will not mention the place I work for and the type of job I have. I know there are people (the San Soo folks like Ron G. and Jon S.) are thinking I'm full of BS, but I really do have a cool job, even though there is more than a bit of paperwork involved.
Anyway, the point of this post is to let people know I'm still active on this blog and to remind myself to keep posting blog posts. The fighting styles recommended on this blog are a win-win to study in this age of people willing to use guns, knives, blunt objects (bats, batons, etc.), bombs, everyday objects, etc. for weapons than fight empty handed. People don't have years and are not willing to spend money and time learning a complex fighting style when they could become proficient in learning a style that will bring good fighting ability in a short period of time! For example, combining Muay Thai with BJJ, Boxing and Wrestling, Pradal Serey with BJJ, Sanda by itself, etc.
Recommended Fighting Styles:
Muay Thai, Muay Lao, Pradal Serey, Lethwei, Tomoi
Sanda (San Shou, San Da), Kyuk Too Ki, Shoot Boxing, Yaw Yan
Dutch Kickboxing, Savate, Western Boxing
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Sambo, Pankration, Judo, Shuai Jiao, Kali/Arnis/Escrima
